Juan is the leader of the firm’s strategy practice. He has over 14 years of consulting experience in the financial services, consumer goods, and telecommunications industries assisting clients in strategy, operational effectiveness and organizational development projects. He has conducted work for leading Banks in Latin America and the Caribbean in card issuing and acquiring strategies, product development (credit, debit and prepaid), sourcing of card management solutions, loyalty programs strategy and implementation, mobile banking and digital sales strategy, card organization redesign, and change management. Additionally, he has conducted work in credit card fraud prevention, collections management and operational improvement. Juan has assisted clients in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Bahamas, and Barbados. Prior to joining Xtrategies, he worked as a partner at Loyalty Marketing, where he managed the project to launch a coalition loyalty program in Venezuela. Previous to that, Juan was an engagement manager at Arthur D. Little’s Caracas office where he worked in cases dealing with core strategic and operational issues for large corporations, including among others a five year business plan, organization redesign, and procurement strategy for the leading consumer goods company in the market.
